1. Filtering speed

High filtration speed of dust collector is main factor which damages the filter bag. In recent years, to reduce the equipment cost and improve profit blindly, some supplier improve the filtering speed when they design dust collectors. In short time, there is not big difference, but this make filter bag life much shorter. This does not save cost for customer, but brings very big of economic burden also waste customer’s time.

2. Working temperature

Choosing filter bag which suits the working temperature correctly is the key points which ensure the filter bag using life. If the working temperature is higher than the filter material can be resistant, the filter bag using life will become shorter, and even be burned out in short time. So, when selecting the filter bag, firstly, we shall test the temperature of entrance of dust collector very carefully.

3. dust medium

The dust features depends on what filter cloth to be used for filter bags, must consider if the dust medium is acid or alkali or strong acid or alkali. Chose right filter material according to dust medium chemical properties, so that the filter bag can absorb the dust normally and do not affect its using life.

4. filter bag quality

Filter Bag processing is important. In recent years, some small manufacturers are using small sewing machines as processing equipment, and using bad quality thread and raw material to sew filter bags, sell their filter bag with very low price than normal, their production level is very poor. Then the phenomenon of threads breaking, seam opening or bottom breaking or opening occur in short time when bags are used in exact working condition. Sometimes, when bag size is smaller it can be also used, but after absorbing heavy dust for some days, the filter bag will fall off.
